Mary Ellen (McMahon) Hirsch, Class of 1960
Mary Ellen Hirsch passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012. She was born Dec. 31, 1945, in Chicago. She was the cherished wife of Donald George Hirsch, to whom she was wed on Sept. 18, 1965; beloved mother of Daniel (Gail) Hirsch, Kelly (Dave) Rodriguez and Kenneth Hirsch; loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, Jack, Samantha, Alexis, Braeden, Sydney, Jarrek and Shelby; and sister of Patrick McMahon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine McMahon. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton. The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 101 W. Loop Road, Wheaton. Please meet at the church. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to ESSE Adult Day Care, 515 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
